Self Introduction:)

Hi every one!

My name is Sin Yuet Ching (5357 2636) , you can call me Jobie! :) 

I am Year 2 now and majoring in Human Resources Management. 

I love playing piano and cooking, especially making desserts like cheesecake and cupcakes.

The reason I chose this GE course is that I am always interested in the topic of ''Globalisation'' and ''Globalisation in Business'' would be even more attractive to me because I am a business student.

That's why I would take this course. I expect after finishing this course, I can know more about how global company changed their business process to make them be so successful among the whole world now. Then I can learn the key factors to run a successful global business from them for my future use. 

Among all the weekly topics, ''Homogenization of Society and Culture: Encroachment of Multinationals.'' in week 8 are the most attractive to me because the sub-topics covered in that week's lecture, which includes 'Mcdonaldazation', 'Starbuckization', 'Coca-Colonization' and 'Disneyfication' seems so interesting! These companies are so well-known and their culture or methods of running business affected people around the whole world a lot. I would like to explore more about how they can be so successful and influential globally. I really looking forward to this week lecture!
